Retired teacher, Brenda Peterson, shares the stories of the East Block of Grasslands National Park as an Interpretive Coordinator. The grasslands are special to Brenda and her family because generations grew up on the land that the park now encompasses. Today Brenda fosters that love and the importance of the ecosystem with visitors so that they will continue to respect and preserve the land for years to come. Here are a couple of those lessons.
